The county attracts many day-trippers from London, and it’s not difficult to see why – you’re never more than an hour from the capital. The lodge offers single, twin, double, triple and 4-6 bed family rooms. Many of the rooms benefit from stunning sea views. The rooms come equipped with a TV and tea & coffee making facilities.
The family rooms for 6 guests consist of 2 comfortable single beds (which can be pushed together if desired), two sets of bunk beds (the single beds are on a mezzanine floor within the room), a garden patio area or a balcony with seaview and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
NOTE: Please note that unfortunately due to building restrictions, they do not have lift facilities within the building.

Big Green Bus

Family attractions within a short driving distance include, Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum, Drusillas Park, Bluebell Railway, Blackberry Farm and Branching Out Adventures.
This double decker bus is originally from Coventry, and spent its last few years in service as a school bus in Birmingham. It was saved from being scrapped, and was converted with a mixture of up-cycled furniture, bright retro splashes of colour and still using a lot of the original bus fittings. It now enjoys retirement in the Sussex countryside.
Downstairs there’s a fully-fitted kitchen and lounge/dining area with a cosy log burner, and also a toilet and wet room. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: two full size doubles and one bunk bed room. At the front of the bus there’s a chill out space with a collection of books and board games.
Outside you’ll find a second heated shower, a fire pit and lots of special spots amongst the trees to sit and relax. There’s also a wood fired hot tub which can be hired for the duration of your stay.
Big Green Bus is ideal for families and groups looking for a fun and original place to spend a holiday in the countryside, enjoying nature and the peace and quiet it offers. Therefore, there’s no wireless internet or TV on the bus and amplified music is not allowed on site.

There are three double bedrooms that comfortably sleep 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children with travel cot. 2 bedrooms have double beds and the 3rd bedroom has a double bed (bottom) and single bed (top) bunk bed.
The cosy period sitting room has a large open inglenook fire with sofa, armchairs and DVD/TV. The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances and traditional butler’s sink. There is also an adjoining laundry room with washing machine and dishwasher and a dining room to seat 6 comfortably. There is a large family bathroom and a separate cloakroom WC.
The cottage is child friendly offering an excellent selection of facilities from cot, high chair and toys to broadband.

This three storey house has recently undergone extensive renovation and redecoration. The first bedroom has two single beds that may be connected to become a six-foot wide bed. The room also has a futon chair, suitable for a child or a single Aerobed may be requested instead if required. The second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has a single bed. The first two bedrooms are on the top floor, and the third is on the middle floor, along with the bathroom and living room.
On the ground floor is a WC and kitchen (with a small utility area). There is also internal access to the garage. The major kitchen appliances are new for 2017. The oven is electric, with a separate gas hob. There is also a built-in fridge-freezer, a microwave a washer/dryer. Guests at the property may also benefit from Netflix.
Outside is a small, secluded garden. There is a single garage suitable for a small car (or several bikes), off-road parking for one car and cheap public parking across the road. Cyclists are very welcome, and extra security has been installed for their bikes.
In order to accommodate guests with allergies, regretfully no pets and no smoking in the house are allowed.

The cottage has two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a king double bed; the other has two single beds and an extra child bed is available. Both bedrooms have a Freeview television and hairdryer. The twin room has a DVD player ideal for children. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower fitted over.
The Lounge also has a Freeview television and DVD player and there is free Wi-Fi. The fitted kitchen has an oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and washer/dryer. In addition, a table with four chairs.
A travel cot and highchair are also available for guests use but please bring your own bedding for the travel cot. Outside, there is a parking bay at the front of the property.

The Sheldon has Family Rooms that sleep 3, 4 and 5 guests. The Comfort Family Room sleeps up to 5 plus a cot. There is a Super king bed with double sofa bed and single sofa bed. It is in a Quiet Zone of the property, downstairs with private entrance (not serviced by lift). Further facilities include, Bath and Shower, LCD TV with Satellite channels, Wi-Fi and Hairdryer. Cots are available on request. A baby bath, steriliser, changing mat, potty etc. may also be requested if required.
The recently refurbished dining room serves hot dishes and a varied cold buffet selection to suit every taste. There are also 2 lovely lounges for you to relax in. There are a few toys for our younger guests to enjoy and a great selection of books which we encourage you to ‘swap’ during your stay.

The Lodge has recently been completely restored and refurbished to an extremely high standard including a superb living room, kitchen with dining room, three beautifully presented bedrooms and a family bathroom.
